Guangzhou Deaf Students Visit Hong Kong

20 students from a deaf school in Guangzhou, China, and 8 of their teachers and the principle, visited Hong Kong for a week in April 1999. They toured HK--the first visit for most of them--and had several opportunities to interact with the students of the Caritas Magdalene School where I work.

Older Boys in Traditional Chinese Dance On one day of their visit, the Guangzhou students presented a series of performances including various Chinese traditional dances, some keyboard music, and some sign language songs.

Chinese Students on IT Bus While at CMS, the Guangzhou students participated in a quiz complete with buzzers and flashing lights. Later they visited an Information Technology bus equipped with the latest computers for demonstration to students.
