A New Tree for Street 334

Ed McGovern and Charlie Dittmeier live together on Street 334 in Phnom Penh. Ed has a thing for plants and today he surprised me with the announcement that a tree was coming. And it did, carried by four men from Bob's Garden Center Cafe around the corner from us.

Unloading the tree from a cart

Delivery was by a cart pulled from Bob's garden center
Carrying it up the stairs

The tree was big enough to be HEAVY, a load to carry up our stairs
Breaking the pot off the ball

We live on the second floor, with a small balcony in back. Our neighbors are within touching distance so the tree will provide a screen.
Repotting the tree

Putting the tree into its new and larger pot. Now the neighbors can no longer see us as we stand and work at the kitchen sink.
