Odds and Ends in Louisville
Today was a day to unpack and take care of a few pressing tasks. Luckily I felt very little effect from jetlag which was unusual. I suspect the change from past experience was due to starting this journey from Bangkok without adding an hour's flight from Phnom Penh and sleeping 6 or 7 hours on the airport floor in Bangkok before leaving for the US.
• I unpacked more of my stuff, especially a bag of mail that I brought from Cambodia to be mailed in the US, and then I took the mail to be post office to be weighed and stamped.
• Answered the most pressing e-mail.
• Met former students from St. Thomas Seminary in Louisville where we attended the minor seminary (high school and two years of college). They meet the first Friday of each month in person. These and many more former seminarians from St. Thomas, and several of our former teachers, also participate in an online mailing list.
